A little terraced micropub with patio area. The small bar area is complimented by a floor above although it was empty. Service is always good and it generally is for the more mature. TVs were no on and I heard no music. Free cheese and crackers is a Sunday thing. Four Ales on, two Wye Valley and two guests - with a very good Enville Ale. Always visit when in Shifnal.

A quite pubby micro - with what looked like church reclaimed pew seating. Positioned with a chippy one side and a kebab shop the other. As if this wasnt near perfect, the Indian next door but one is unlicenced and there is an agreement you can take your pints from here into there and they will return the glassware!

Two Wye Valley on. As this is my locals brew, I looked for something a bit different. Best pint of the day was found here - Three Acre Brewery Harlequin Green Hop. Perfect condition.

Friendly locals, where it transpired were the parents of the owner!

A good sized micropub this one with extra seating upstairs. The interior was smartly kitted out and the owner was an excellent host. Luckily for me they had Salopian Kashmir on handpump. The three other ales were Titanic Plum Porter, HPA and Butty Bach. This micro also offers a good range of snacks, cobs, pork pies etc. Very close to the Railway Station so well worth a visit.
